NUTRITION MEDIA MESSAGES
for Radio
This CD contains nutrition, food safety and cooking messages written to be delivered on radio. There are 30 messages in English and 10 in Spanish. The CD can be taken to a local radio station where they can copy the message of your choice into their system for use as a free public service announcement or a paid promotion. The written copy will also be provided if you prefer to record the message yourself. The messages can be localized by having the radio station add contact information for your Cooperative Extension office to the end of the message.

References and suggested supplemental materials for consumers will be provided. For example, "The Food keeper" brochure can be offered to consumers who call your office regarding the "How Long Will Food Keep" radio message. This brochure can be ordered through the Food Marketing Institute. The local cooperative Extension office is responsible for ordering or otherwise procuring the supplemental materials. Many of the suggested supplemental materials are available on-line.
